Thank you for sharing a ridiculous moment with me,
and now let me tell you about the one who first showed me those ridiculous moments matter.
In 1995, my grandfather opened a little magic shop called The Magic Emporium.To most people, it was a place to buy tricks.To me, it was a second home.The shelves were filled with magic, but what I remember most are the people. Magicians, hobbyists, curious kids, and lifelong friends all found their way through those doors. It wasn't just a store, it was a community built around wonder.The shop closed in 2002, but what started there never really ended.
Before I Could Read...
...I was surrounded by magic.
Some of my earliest memories are being near my granddad while he performed.At just 18 months old, I attempted my very first trick—a vanishing handkerchief.I'm not sure anyone would have called it a success,
but it was the beginning.
By the time I was three, I was performing weekly on our Saturday afternoon magic show.I didn't know it then, but I wasn't just learning tricks.I was learning how to make people smile.
My grandfather never taught me that magic was about fooling people.He taught me it was about making people laugh and creating moments.The kind you can't fully capture in a photo, replay in a video, or scroll past on social media. Real moments only happen when real people experience something together.That's still the goal
every time I walk on stage.

Easy. He proudly still watches them. If you asked me, I don't think he would be proud of any one trick I do.
He's proud that I've developed my own style - one built on strong magic, genuine connection and a sense of humor that's unmistakably mine.
WHY I DO THIS
Every show reminds me of standing beside my grandfather as a little kid,
hoping I could make someone smile the way he did.That's still the goal.Everything else is just the method.
